Now that we have blessed and released 2010, it is time to stay present, minute by minute, in the unfolding of 2011. A new year brings about hope and new beginnings. A lot of us made new year resolutions which quite often is a set up for failure. What you are actually doing is limiting yourself when endless possibilities will be presented in each changing moment. I would like to impress upon you the art of staying fully present, fully open to creation. Remember that your actions or lack there of will set it in motion. Play witness at all times so not to have one viewpoint but many. Our life experiences work as filters and we all know that we should replace filters regularly. However, often we don’t. We expect the new year to bring about change, yet we never change our behaviors to create new outcomes. We can argue as to why we can’t or why it is so hard. What we are truly saying is I am not worth it. YOU ARE WORTH IT! We all are. Life as a whole is one great adventure. Sure, it sucks some times, but imagine that a situation is just like drinking water. Water is something your body needs and you ingest it naturally without much thought. Your soul needs the filters changed just like the body needs water. What happens to the body if it doesn’t get water? It shuts down! The same thing happens when you don’t change the filters. You stay in the past wondering why nothing ever changes. Every year I take inventory of my life. 2010 was a year of transition for me. It wasn’t an easy year but since changing my filters I have a great perspective and openness to what 2011 might bring. I didn’t make any resolutions but I did promise to be open to the flow of creation. I am excited to see what I will create in 2011. More so, I am looking forward to see how many souls change their filter so we can all create together. Make this new year powerful!
