There is a part of our soul that by nature just loves. There are no rules, no conditions, no gender. All it truly wants and needs it to love. Imagine if we all allowed it to happen. At times it does not appear to be an easy task for we cannot forget the 101 reasons why we can’t be happy (pause for dramatic affect). Is it really that hard to love? or to be loved? I am not saying I am an expert, it just seems simple and right to just experience such energies between two souls or more 🙂
I personally love to love. I am one of those characters that lives for the breathless moments of a glance, the heart drop of a gentle smile and the excitement of a touch. How can I not! It is within that moment that I get to give something back to the world and the person I am connected to. You might ask, “the world?”. Well yes, the world, because when I have those moment I am in full awareness, kindness, selflessness and happiness.
When did it become the RULE that we can only feel this with one partner? Does the smile of your child not make your heart skip? Do you love one brother/sister less than the other? Do you only love one parent? If you love apple pie, can you really not love chocolate cake as well? My point is this. We go around finding reasons why we need to stay stuck on this very narrow love train. I believe that we start to get it all wrong when we believe that love equals sex. SO WRONG! I have had the most meaningful relationships and love affairs that never ONCE ended up with sex. So I can say with confidence that LOVE is less complicated than we all think. I dare you to love unconditionally.
